The Founders Story
Hi there! Our names are Nate and Makenna Morgan. We are the founders of Agapē. We have been married since summer of 2022.
We had this idea of starting a business but weren't sure exactly what we wanted to do. We knew we wanted to do something more than just for ourselves. Something that could change lives and lead people to know Jesus.
Growing up, I (Nate) was a three sport athlete and dedicated most of my life to baseball with the intentions of playing pro ball. While playing college ball, I realized that baseball wasn’t going to fill my soul. so, I decided to drop all my offers and start a new journey following Jesus.
I, (Makenna) grew up in Brazil as a missionary kid from age 3-14. My family lived among the Brazillians. We lived very simple and didn't have much. My parents did a good job of not letting my siblings and I know that at times we actually couldn't afford basic groceries and many other things people can take for granted. I honestly wasn't aware of what some missionaries go through and how challenging it can be. But, we were richly blessed by our supporters and I would not trade growing up in Brazil for anything.
When God calls you somewhere you go, even if you're not sure of what could happen or what to expect. Thats not even a fraction of what we could say but just so you have some background.
So, We started this company on a mission to help support missions and missionary families in Brazil, who have dedicated most of their lives to help people find the Lord.
Even though you may not be a missionary, by supporting families financially, you are helping fund so many organizations and events that are helping more people come to know Our Savior.
